Our integrated model means a child doesn’t just receive one service. They receive all the support they need in one place. A hot meal leads to trust. Trust opens the door to counselling. Counselling leads to learning. Learning becomes a livelihood.
Nutrition and Feeding Program
We serve at least 150 nutritious hot meals every day to vulnerable and street-connected children and mothers at our centre. Our emergency feeding component ensures no one is turned away in acute hunger, while nutrition education equips children with lifelong healthy habits.

Safe Space and Child Protection
Our centre provides a physically safe, adult-supervised environment where children are protected from exploitation, abuse, and harm. Trained counsellors deliver trauma-informed psychosocial support, and active safeguarding policies govern every interaction.

Vocational and Skills Development
100+ young people and single mothers are trained in practical trade skills every year, gaining certifications and hands-on experience that translate directly into income and employment.

Technology and Digital Skills
Uganda’s economy is going digital fast, and computer skills now decide who gets hired and who gets left behind. We deliver computer literacy, internet skills, coding fundamentals, and recognised ICT certification programs so youth can compete in the modern workforce, or launch their own digital enterprises.

Sports and Recreation
Play matters for healthy development, not just physical fitness but teamwork, discipline, and genuine joy. For many of our children, Safe Haven is the first truly safe space they have ever had to simply be a child.
